There will be no exorbitant time spent on the phone handling deficiencies when problems occur or defective goods arrive, because we handle all the problems. In fact, because we have long-standing relationships with our vendors, problems are handled with consideration and timeliness.
There will be no work missed because a sub-contractor and he did not keep an appointment with you. We have an A-team of trades and will manage every detail and appointment, seeing it through to the end without your needing to be present
Hours upon hours will not be spent online or in stores shopping, one piece at a time, and feeling more confused and overwhelmed than ever. We will source all products and present the total package all one time.

Design Expertise: room decor, remodeling, new builds

Possible deficiencies are taken care of, often times without client ever knowing about them

The Process
PRIOR TO MEETING
Make a list of your needs, desires and dreams.
Have an approximate idea of your budget range.
Collect inspiration images that you are attracted to. They do not need to be the exact representation of what your space will reflect; find concept photos that appeal to you. Find inspiration from websites such as Pinterest and Houzz. Also look in home decor magazines.
Providing a floor plan of the existing residence, if available, is extremely helpful.
FINISHES, FABRICS, FURNISHINGS
This is where the fun begins!
After drawings are approved, furniture and finish sourcing begin.
Overall design and color scheme is presented to the client.
Detailed proposals are created and include every item discussed and agreed upon.
INITIAL CONSULTATION
Consultation will take place at project residence.
Scope and specific areas of work will be determined.
LWID will take many notes and photographs of the areas to be addressed.
Following consultation, a proposal will be submitted with a fee schedule. A letter of agreement will be reviewed and signed by both designer and client.
DEVELOPMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION
Sourcing and ordering begin after all proposals receive approval.
Trades and designer meet and bids are collected for work associated with the project.
LWID works closely with contractors (construction projects), subcontractors and workrooms to ensure every finish is installed or applied exactly as prescribed in drawings and plans.
Purchasing and receiving of all finishes and furnishings- involves purchasing, order tracking, inspecting, and arranging delivery. Deficiencies are addressed and taken care of by LWID. Client may never know when problems occurred.
SPACE PLANNING
A site measurement will be taken
A furniture plan will subsequently be drawn with dimensions, or, if the project is a new build or remodel, a conceptual plan will be created.
Upon approval, the conceptual plan will go to CAD to be constructed into working documents.
INSTALLATION
Furniture and accessories are delivered.
LWID arranges and places every piece, to the detail the client desires.
