S. Monroe Renovation

This lovely old beauty resides in a historic neighborhood. Respecting the architectural style, we aimed to renovate the kitchen and master bath by honoring the past and embracing the present. This was achieved by employing timeless materials and classic design elements.

Aged brass hardware and lighting was chosen because the original brass knobs and hardware are found throughout the home. The backsplash is Carrara marble which is accented by the Platinum Gray granite countertop. The vent hood is a custom designed stainless brass.

The oak island with a maple slab top was designed to look like a "found piece", such as an old library. Cabinets to left of the refrigerator are the pantry; every shelf pulls out fully.
